For 18 years, I have been renovating my home garden through DIY projects. From design to construction, I have been doing everything on my own. The spaces I have created are now being utilized as part of a studio, serving as a backdrop for photography.
Water Garden
I created a flowing water space in the studio’s garden, which has become an iconic location. Using unprocessed natural stones, we stacked them in a random design, creating a water garden with a weathered and archaeological feel, as if it had been there for a long time.
Zen Garden
Arasou Co., Ltd. (Tainai City): I was involved in the renovation of the spacious garden of a historic traditional Japanese house. The entire facility, combining the garden and the building, has been registered as a tangible cultural property by the government.
